2011 Grey Cup Parade

Grand Marshal, Glee star and local BC boy, Cory Monteith led more than 100 'Raise a Roof' dancers, elaborate floats, and 14 marching bands for a jam-packed parade through the streets of downtown Vancouver!

For the second time, South Asian Arts participated with our own Dhol drummers & Bhangra dancers as well as Bhangra dancers from Shan E Punjab Arts Club. It was a wet and rainy day, but it was all worth it as our BC Lions pulled out a big win the next day over the Edmonton Eskimos, bringing the Grey Cup back to Vancouver!
