Dec. 16, 2007 - Dance All Sorts

Some of you may have been lucky enough to see South Asian Arts & Footedge Dance Company perform at All Over the Map in 2005. So if you enjoyed that performance a few years back, then you surely would have enjoyed this one as well. Titled Bollywood Seen!, the audience was given an inside look at the making of a typical Bollywood movie - complete with overacting, mellowdrama, Bollywood masala...and of course - DANCE!

Her dreams consist of being the next Aishwarya Rai and securing the love of the popular boy at school. Luckily Kalyani Aunty (her spunky, pro-India dance teacher) is around to remind Meena about the importance of embracing her origins and talents.
